Couple therapy offers a safe and dedicated space for couples to work together with a therapist to explore difficulties and conflicts that may be affecting their wellbeing, or the wellbeing of their family, perhaps keeping them feeling ‘stuck’ and unable to move forward either together or apart.
A couple therapist can help you, as a couple, explore feelings and experiences that may otherwise feel difficult to put into words, and begin to understand repeated conflicts and patterns between you, freeing you to think together about your relationship and your individual feelings, needs and desires.
I am currently studying towards an advanced qualification in couple psychodynamic psychotherapy at The British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF). As part of this post-qualifying training, I work with The BPF Low-Fee Clinic to offer a limited number of spaces for low-fee couple therapy. If you are interested in this opportunity you can find further information on the British Psychotherapy Foundation website.
